The 2012 GIFFT Chardonnay exhibits richness, depth and complexity, balanced by a lively acidity and an essential freshness.  Featuring the gorgeous tropical fruit flavors that are the hallmark of Monterey Chardonnays, the 2012 GIFFT Chardonnay strikes the ideal balance between rich and refreshing. The wine is 100% Chardonnay of which half was aged in stainless steel to preserve the fruit's freshness and crisp acidity. The other half was aged in 100% French oak to bring a rich texture, complexity and creaminess to the finished wine.
